MUSC 580 Entrepreneurship in Music
This course introduces the basic for- and non-profit skills required to succeed as a musical entrepreneur and introduces students to the cultural and economic environments of the arts.
MUSC 100A Music Advocacy I
An introduction to advocacy methods, techniques and experiences needed to understand the positive effects of music in American society.
MUSC 582 Introduction to the Music Economies*
A survey of the for-profit and non-profit music economies. Students also investigate broader policy positions that drive these economies.
MUSC 590 Seminar in Music Entrepreneurship*
Analysis of music and arts-based ventures through case studies. Students develop a feasibility study to determine economic viability of a music business.
MUSC 591 Music Leadership Practicum*
Students design and execute an entrepreneurial, music leadership project in the community.
