Winds, Percussion, Voice, Jazz: Sunday,
June 22 - Saturday, June 28, 2008
Open to students who enrolled in grades 9-12 during
the 2007-08 school year.Conservatory activities include master
classes with USC faculty and other professional musicians, chamber
music coaching, and private lessons. Students will also select
from a variety of elective activities, including courses in
music history, music theory, how to prepare for and win an audition,
and jazz improvisation. Students will also have the opportunity
to rehearse and perform solo works with professional accompanists,
and hear concerts and recitals given by conservatory faculty
members.

Along with the application, be sure to include:
• $35 non-refundable application fee.
• Tape or CD of 5-10 minutes of you performing on your major instrument (or proof of inclusion in your Allstate ensemble). Recording is
required if you wish to be considered for a scholarship.
Late applications will be accepted on a space-available basis.
Students will be notified of acceptance on or before May 1, 2008.
