Scholarships are available for undergraduate students. An audition is required and there are four or five audition dates each year from December-March. For those auditions students are required to sing two classical selections, a brief musical memory test and a sight reading test.
Both non-music majors and music majors can receive scholarship assistance. Scholarship students are required to take part in a major ensemble, Concert Choir or University Chorus, and enroll in voice lessons. Out of state students who receive a music scholarship are eligible for a reduced out of state tuition rate.

Dec 5, 2009--all except bassoon
Jan 30, 2010--all areas
Feb 13, 2010--guitar, jazz, organ, piano, strings, voice (everything except winds and percussion)
Feb. 19-20, 2010--Band Clinic auditions--winds, perc, jazz only.
(Feb 19 for Band Clinic students only)
Feb 27, 2010--all areas, last date
