The University of South Carolina possesses an outstanding collection of instruments. Organ students have access to a 14-rank Moller Organ (1969) in Rutledge Chapel, a 13-rank Schantz Organ (1995), a 7-stop Schlicker Organ (1970/1995), and a 4-stop Casavant Portative Organ. In addition, the School of Music recently inaugurated its new concert instrument built by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd. of Lake City Iowa.
