2011-12 South Carolina All-State Band Recording Project

Welcome to the webpage of the University of South Carolina’s All-State Band Recording Project.

Recordings of all etudes and percussion rudiments required for the 2011-12 All-State Band Auditions, performed by the world-class faculty of the U.S.C. School of Music, are available below. You may also download written performance notes that will aid in the preparation of these etudes.

You are encouraged to visit each faculty member’s page at the School of Music by clicking on their name; here you can find biographical and contact information.  Feel free to contact any member of the applied faculty with questions about all-state preparation, your instrument, or about the nationally- and internationally-recognized University of South Carolina School of Music.

Please direct general questions and comments about the All-State Recording Project to:

Michael Harley
Coordinator, U.S.C. All-State Band Recording Project

Thank you for visiting our webpage.  We hope you find the recordings and performance notes helpful, both in your preparation for this year’s auditions and in your growth as a musician.

Sincerely,
Mike Harley

While they are very reliable and do not present the compatibility problems that streaming files can, embedded files are only available to one listener at a time. If you experience trouble listening to a file, wait a minute and try again.
