Composition Program
Welcome to the University of South Carolina Composition
Program

We are a dynamic group of artists with a strong sense of collegiality. Students profit from a lively new music concert season and frequent visits by distinguished guest composers, performers, and scholars. We offer B.M., M.M. and D.M.A. degrees in composition. Composers in all three degrees work in an environment dedicated to compositional and musical excellence, broad academic inquiry, and the building of strong professional skills.
