USC School of Music
Composition Program
Computer Music Studios
The
Composition Program maintains two
advanced studios for sound generation, processing and spatialization:
Computer Music Studio B
(R011) and the Experimental Music
Studio (R039). Access
to these facilities is through enrollment in appropriate courses and faculty-mentored research projects that require the use of
studio equipment. Students working in these studios include composers,
recording engineers, and other music majors. Non-majors from media arts, computer
science, and related fields also regularly enroll in our courses.
These studios are under
the direction of Dr. Reginald Bain. You can contact Dr. Bain at (803)
777-8183, or rbain@mozart.sc.edu.
