Guidelines for Submissions to Piano Pedagogy Forum.

Submissions to Piano Pedagogy Forum should be issue-oriented in content. Articles on historical and theoretical subjects, as well as discussions of musical literature, are welcomed but do not reflect the mission of this publication. Piano Pedagogy Forum is intended to be an arena for the expression of opinions as they focus on the issues that shape the field of Piano Pedagogy today and into the next millennium.

Submissions should reflect substantive issues, academically collegial arguments, or innovative practice concerning the subject of the appropriate Forum.

Piano Pedagogy Forum accepts submission in the following areas:

Forum on Group Piano
Forum on Piano Pedagogy
Forum on Piano Performance
Forum on Keyboard Education
Froum on Keyboard Technology
Forum on Collaborative Piano

Articles should contain a minimum of 1500 words.

Articles should be submitted in hard-copy format. Information regarding electronic formats will be forwarded upon acceptance.

To facilitate internet publishing formats, articles should be designed with distinct sub-sections and headings. Writers are directed to Piano Pedagogy Forum v. 1 #2, "Forum on Piano Pedagogy" for guidance in format.

References or citations must include all pertinent information.

Piano Pedagogy Forum does not utilize Sound Bytes, QuickTime movie clips, or musical examples at this time.

The editors reserve the right to revise or re-format any or all parts of each submission.

All submissions will be kept on file at the University of South Carolina School of Music for future reference.
