12-tone Composition

3. Write a complete 12-tone composition for solo violin, solo piano, 2 guitars or other instrumentation approved by your instructor. Group efforts, especially composer/performer pairs are welcome. The composition should be about 25-30 bars long.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. A clean performance copy of the score.
  2. An analytical copy of the same score with all row forms and order numbers appropriately marked on the copy.
  3. Seperate manuscript page with your prime row on it (partitioned into appropriate units) and a basic analysis of the row's implicit structure.
