- Create your own tuning of the chromatic scale using Soundscape Productions'

of the instructions you'll need to create and print your new tuning
card. Click here for detailed instructions.
- Now compose a simple melody (c. 4-8 bars) that exploits this tuning. Give
it a simple harmonization (1. SATB 4-part setting; or 2. melody plus chords) that also exploits
unique features of your tuning. We will realize this melody using your
new tuning in Assignment 6. Click here to see an example.

- A print out of the tuning card you made in Part a.
- Score for melody & harmonization you created in Part b.
- A brief typed explanation of the structure of your
tuning, melody, and harmonization.
