STUDENT EVALUATIONS OF INSTRUCTOR/COURSE

Approximately one month before the end of each semester, faculty are reminded that instructor/course evaluations should be administered before the end of the semester.  Every course or ensemble with an enrollment of five students or more must be evaluated.  All levels of applied instruction taught by a single professor are considered to be one course (e.g. 101, 111, 211, 311, 411, 501, 511, 711, 811).  The selected student administers the evaluation (the teacher must not be present) and returns the forms to the Music Office in a sealed envelope, which is provided.  Computer Services scores the evaluation and the results provide a confidential summary to the faculty member and Dean.
