Oboe
During my time at USC, I had the privilege of studying oboe under Rebecca Nagel. The main purpose of this course was to prepare me to teach beginning oboe, but it also helped me become more qualified in working with oboe players at all levels. In addition to learning basic oboe posture and technique, we also studied advanced and avant garde techniques and literature. From emboucher and reeds, to famous performers and various oboe manufacturers; we covered a wide range of the oboe world.
