The String Connection and The DePriest Trio
The String Connection is a referal service I provide for people interested in hiring string performers. We have extensive resources and contacts throughout the region and can arrange for or connect people with area musicians. My brothers and I frequently perform as the DePriest Trio. We have amassed a diverse repertoire and performed in a variety of venues for many different occasions. Currently we perform as two violins and a cello, but we also perform with bass and viola and other musicians when requested. I have been a member of the University of South Carolina Symphony and Chamber Orchestras since the Fall 2004 season. During my time at USC I also performed with several chamber ensembles and the USC Jazz strings.
